We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in the Cardiac Surgery Intensive Care Unit (CSICU) at Inteletech Global Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in critical care nursing, with a focus on cardiac surgery patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the CSICU, including those recovering from complex cardiac surgeries such as coronary artery bypass grafting (CABG), valve replacements, and heart transplants.
- Continuously monitor and assess patients' vital signs, cardiac rhythms, hemodynamic status, and overall condition, utilizing advanced monitoring equipment and technology.
- Administer and manage critical medications, including vasoactive drips, anticoagulants, and pain management therapies, ensuring precise dosage and patient safety.
- Collaborate with cardiac surgeons, intensivists, anesthesiologists, and other members of the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans for post-surgical recovery and rehabilitation.
- Perform advanced nursing procedures, such as managing mechanical ventilation, intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP), extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO), and other life-sustaining therapies.
- Provide education and emotional support to patients and their families, helping them understand the recovery process, potential complications, and the importance of follow-up care.
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of employment.
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associate's degree in Nursing (ADN) required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a critical care or intensive care unit, with specific experience in cardiac or cardiovascular surgery preferred.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications are required; CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse) certification is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cardiac surgery procedures, post-operative care, and critical care nursing practices.
- Excellent critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a high-stress, fast-paced environment.
