Internship Responsibilities

As an intern, you will work side by side with staff, managers, partners, and clients, providing world-class client service. You will be responsible for:

  • Assisting clients with routine accounting functions
  • Participating in audits and completing special projects
  • Assisting audit teams with financial statement preparation and audit reports
  • Gaining exposure to various industries through audit work
  • Attending training sessions to become familiar with The CJ Group audit programs
Requirements
  • Working toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting
  • Must have 90 credit hours by the start of the internship
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills
  • Completion of intermediate and managerial accounting courses
  • 3.0 GPA or above in major
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time (within the DFW Metro area)
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
