The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Rheumatologist to join our esteemed Medical Service. This role involves providing specialized care for patients with various rheumatological conditions, focusing on assessment, diagnosis, and treatment.
Facility Information:The Hershel "Woody" Williams VAMC is a fully accredited facility that offers comprehensive medical and surgical services. Our community-based outpatient clinics are strategically located to serve patients effectively.
Role Responsibilities:The selected physician will operate independently within the Rheumatology Department, utilizing their expertise to perform and assist in related medical procedures. Rheumatology encompasses the treatment of diseases affecting joints, muscles, and bones, including autoimmune and inflammatory disorders.
Work Schedule:This position operates Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Board certification in Rheumatology and completion of a Rheumatology Fellowship are highly desirable.
