Position Overview

As a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Unit Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the operations of your designated unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all managerial responsibilities for the assigned unit.
  • Assist in the development and enforcement of staff policies and procedures.
  • Guide and support junior nursing staff, providing both clinical and professional development advice.
  • Uphold the care standards for the unit.
  • Evaluate resident documentation and the quality of care provided.
  • Supervise overall resident care and assess individual resident cases.
  • Address any inquiries or concerns raised by residents or their families.
  • Advocate for the unit's needs with upper management.
Qualifications:
  • Current and valid LPN license in the state.
  • Preferred: 3 years of experience in Long Term Care.
  • Preferred: 1 year of supervisory experience.
  • Proficient in computer skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
