Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Therapist to join our team at Sakonnet House. As a Clinical Therapist, you will provide individual, group, and family therapy to residents, supporting their integration into the Trauma Systems Therapy (TST) model. You will also conduct diagnostic assessments, co-create treatment plans with youth and families, and provide short and long-term trauma-informed counseling services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, group, and family therapy to residents, promoting their integration into the TST model.
  • Conduct diagnostic assessments and co-create treatment plans with youth and families.
  • Deliver short and long-term trauma-informed counseling services to clients.
  • Collaborate with direct care staff to ensure the delivery of services to clients.
  • Provide emergency crisis intervention/assessment as needed.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in a human services-related field.
  • LCSW, MFT-A, or MHC-A eligibility upon hire.
  • Independent license eligibility within 2 years of hire required.
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, registration, and inspection required.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to travel to and from clients' residences, community locations, and office site.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs.
  • Ability to communicate by voice, use sight, and hearing.
  • Able to perform and participate in the restraint of clients as required.
