About the Job

At SYGMA Columbus, we are seeking an experienced Freight Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics department, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods from our warehouse to customers across the region.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $85,000 per year (estimated annual salary based on average driver compensation in the Columbus area).

Job Description:

We are looking for a reliable and skilled driver who can efficiently transport products to meet customer needs. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Safely operating a tractor-trailer unit to transport goods to various customers
  • Loading and unloading products from the trailer at designated delivery locations
  • Ensuring accurate delivery and handling of products according to customer specifications and company standards
  • Maintaining accurate records of deliveries, including electronic or manual logs, inspections, and vehicle maintenance reports

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • A valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
  • At least 1 year of experience driving a tractor-trailer
  • A high school diploma or equivalent degree (or completion of a tractor-trailer driving school)
