Role Summary:

We are on the lookout for an Infrastructure Technician to enhance our Infrastructure team. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and are eager to develop their skills in the telecommunications field. The Infrastructure Technician will be tasked with the installation and troubleshooting of telecom equipment across various locations, providing an exciting opportunity for those who appreciate outdoor activities and adventure.

California Internet L.P. will provide comprehensive training, necessary tools, and company vehicles to ensure your success in this role. We seek candidates with a positive attitude and a willingness to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute Infrastructure work orders under the guidance of the Lead Technician, ensuring timely and code-compliant completion using industry best practices.
  • Maintain accurate logs and documentation of work performed.
  • Configure networking equipment for infrastructure projects.
  • Work at heights, including on ladders, rooftops, and telecommunication towers exceeding 150 feet.
  • Demonstrate mechanical and electrical aptitude, utilizing hand tools, power tools, and wiring.
  • Adhere to safety policies and procedures in compliance with industry standards.
  • Keep work areas, tools, and personal protective equipment organized and safe.
  • Efficiently manage time across all field-related tasks.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements:

  • Willingness to travel weekly.
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
  • Basic knowledge of hand tools.
  • Professional demeanor and a collaborative spirit.
  • Capability to lift and carry at least 75 pounds.
  • Flexibility to work overtime as needed.
  • Aptitude for learning new skills.
  • Comfortable with heights, as tower climbing is a requirement.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Education and Experience:

  • Relevant work experience in a related field.
  • Experience in construction, tower work, linemen, or electrical fields is advantageous.
