Core Responsibilities

The Speech/Language Pathologist will:

  • Assess and provide treatment for patients requiring speech-language therapy.
  • Implement therapeutic interventions using established techniques tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatment strategies and progress.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to performance improvement protocols.
  • Assist in planning and coordinating patient discharge from therapy services.
  • Offer guidance on relevant support programs available to patients.
Qualifications

Licensure/Certification Requirements:

  • Current BLS Provider certification obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer, from an accepted provider.
  • Speech-Language Pathologist credential from the Wisconsin Hearing and Speech Examining Board, required prior to employment.

Educational Background:

  • A Bachelor's degree is mandatory; a Master's degree is preferred.
