Job Overview

Role Summary:

In this role, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals and primary care teams to conduct cognitive evaluations and facilitate care coordination for patients experiencing cognitive challenges.

Essential Qualifications

A master's degree in speech-language pathology or communication sciences from an accredited institution is required, along with relevant experience in delivering specialized speech therapy services.

A valid license from the state board of speech-language pathology is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
At least one year of experience in a related field is preferred.
Skills and Competencies

Proficiency in established methods, procedures, and tools for individual and group therapy addressing speech, language, and cognitive disorders is essential.

Familiarity with the classifications, causes, and effects of these disorders, as well as an understanding of psychological and educational principles related to cognitive impairments, is crucial. The ability to operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results is required. Strong interpersonal skills to build effective relationships with patients and their families are necessary. Willingness to travel to various practice locations is expected.
