Guitar Center is a leading music retailer that aims to empower musicians and non-musicians alike to experience the joy of creating music. As our Instrument Maintenance Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of customer-owned instruments and store inventory.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Guitar Technician who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer experiences and ensuring the highest level of craftsmanship in instrument repairs. Your primary responsibility will be to service customer-owned instruments with precision and attention to detail, while also maintaining store-owned gear and completing warranty repair work as needed.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers to ensure a positive experience and resolve any issues that may arise.
  • Service customer-owned instruments with a high level of craftsmanship, meeting or exceeding customer expectations.
  • Maintain store-owned gear, performing routine maintenance and repairs as required.
  • Complete warranty repair work in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in other duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
  • A skilled understanding of repairing guitars and stringed instruments.
  • Fundamental knowledge of Guitar Center products, including their features and benefits.
