Construction Carpenter

We are seeking a skilled Construction Carpenter to join our team at Johnson Construction Group. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality construction projects on time and within budget.

• Interpret blueprints and plans to determine installation methods, work procedures, and material requirements.
• Execute precise rough and finish carpentry work with attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
• Apply analytical skills to build new structures and repair existing ones.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.
• Ensure the care and cleanliness of work equipment and vehicles.
• Demonstrate a strong work ethic based on principles of honesty and integrity.
• Work in a safe manner and adhere to all safety policies during job duties.
• Possess knowledge of commercial and residential construction.
• Excel as an independent worker and as a team member.
• Exhibit exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Utilize smartphone technology effectively.
• Capably perform physically demanding tasks.
• Thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Read blueprints, sketches, and other client specifications as required.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in written form.

• Legally eligible to work in the US.
• Possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self-starter with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Open to direct instruction and adaptable to changing tasks and assignments.
• Willingness to learn new skills and participate in technical training.
• Willingness to travel, if necessary.
