Job Summary:

As a Radiation Therapist at Southern Ohio Medical Center, you will work under the direction of the Nurse Manager of Cancer Services and AIC, administering daily radiation treatments, performing CT/simulation as directed, and facilitating schedules and documentation in the MOSAIQ EHR.

Responsibilities:

Administer daily radiation treatments and perform CT/simulation as directed

Facilitate schedules and documentation in the MOSAIQ EHR

Collaborate with the Lead Therapist and Nurse Manager to ensure smooth operation of the department

Assist with quality assurance testing and maintenance of therapy equipment

Coordinate treatment schedules with medical oncology and other services as necessary

Requirements:

Associate Degree in Radiography required; completion of Radiation Certification Program required, or Bachelor's Degree in Radiation Therapy required

Ohio(T) licensure required; ARRT(T) required; Ohio(R) preferred; ARRT(R) preferred

BLS/AED certification within 90 days of hire required

One year on-the-job experience preferred
