Job Title: Registered Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled Registered Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Health Advocates Network - Midwest. Job Summary:

This is a 12-week contract position, working 36 hours per week, with 12-hour night shifts. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of recent acute care experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist and be licensed in the state of Illinois. We offer a competitive pay rate of $40.00 per hour, plus travel reimbursement and per diem allowances.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide respiratory care to patients in the NICU/PICU setting
  • Develop and implement individualized respiratory care plans
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Requirements:
  • Graduate from an AMA-approved Respiratory Care program
  • 2 years' experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in a hospital setting
  • Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) licensure in Illinois
  • American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, PALS for Healthcare Providers
  • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
