As a leader in the field of satellite technology, we are seeking a highly skilled Satellite Network Engineer to join our team.

The successful candidate will have experience in developing real-time software for network topology planning and execution. They will also have knowledge of numerical optimization techniques, graph theoretic approaches, and convex optimization.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing, and operating the software that brings our satellite-based global network to life.

Salary: The estimated salary for this position is between $120,000 and $145,000 per year, depending on experience.

Job Description
We are looking for a talented Satellite Network Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our spacecraft systems department, you will be responsible for developing real-time software that plans and executes network topology for our low-latency, high-bandwidth satellite-based global network.

Your primary responsibilities will include:
* Developing highly reliable, real-time software that meets the requirements of our satellite-based global network
* Participating in architecture, design, and code reviews
* Developing prototypes and managing experiments to prove out key design concepts
* Developing tools for software development and deployment, data analysis and visualization, and test execution across multiple environments

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
* A bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, math, or science discipline; OR 2+ years of professional experience in software development in lieu of a degree
* Development experience in assembly, C, or C++
* Knowledgeable in real-time rendering, game engine development, physics simulation, or other real-time, resource-constrained, high-performance computing
* Knowledgeable in network topology, numerical optimization techniques, graph theoretic approaches, or convex optimization
* Developed, debugged, and deployed software that has been used in real-world applications/projects
