Job Summary

MP Materials Corp. is seeking a skilled Maintenance Planner to join our team in Mountain Pass, CA. As a key member of our Plant Maintenance department, you will be responsible for planning, analyzing, and coordinating maintenance activities to ensure the smooth operation of our plant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to ensure optimal equipment performance and minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, inventory, and equipment history.
  • Conduct root cause analysis to identify and resolve equipment failures.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve maintenance efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to maintenance personnel.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of maintenance budgets and resource allocation plans.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in maintenance planning and coordination.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical theories and principles.
  • Experience with SAP or other CMMS systems.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
