Key Responsibilities- Medication Management: Assist with self-administration of medication policy, document and observe patient medication regimen, and ensure accurate documentation of medication orders.
- Patient Monitoring: Observe patients, charting and reporting changes in patients' conditions, such as adverse reactions to medication or treatment, and take necessary action.
- Assessment and Intervention: Evaluate medical concerns, direct patients to emergency medical care when required, and work as part of a healthcare team to assess patient needs, plan and modify care, and implement interventions.
- Documentation and Record-Keeping: Review medication logs, consult with patients and physicians regarding refills, and document and record results of breath analysis and urine test samples.
- Education and Licensure: Attainment of at least 18 years of age and LVN licensure required, with a valid license/certificate of registration issued by the California Board of Nursing Education and Nurse registration.
- Experience: Experience working in a substance use facility preferred.
- Communication and Teamwork: Demonstrated ability to work as a team player, with excellent communication skills both oral and written.
- Additional Requirements: Valid driver's license, clean driving record, and personal automobile insurance.
