Job Summary:
As a CT Technologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will perform computerized tomography examinations of patients as requested by referring physicians. Your expertise will ensure that images meet requirements, and you will maintain equipment and examination rooms to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review patients' medical history prior to performing CT procedures and confirm that patients have signed a contrast media consent form.
  • Position patients on examination tables and monitor their condition during examinations.
  • Introduce intravenous contrast material as directed by radiologists.
  • Control and adjust CT equipment to ensure that images meet requirements.
  • Maintain equipment and examination rooms, store film, and keep inventory of related supplies.
  • Prepare patient information files showing patients' names, dates of CT examinations, referring physicians, and nature of examinations.
  • Prepare and submit reports showing the number and type of examinations.
  • Perform other related duties as directed.

Requirements:

  • Minimum one year of experience as a CT Technologist or registry-eligible ARRT advanced certification in CT required.
  • Per the National Agreement, current KP Coalition employees have this experience requirement waived.
