Sleep Medicine Physician

Munson Healthcare's Sleep Disorders service line, an AASM accredited sleep center, is seeking a BE/BC Sleep Medicine physician to join their team. This full-time position, split between Cadillac and Manistee, is Monday through Friday, with no weekends or holidays and is sleep center call only.
Key Responsibilities- Perform consultations and downstream care for patients who have obstructive sleep apnea and insomnia.
- Order and understand diagnostic tests and tools, including home sleep tests for patients.
- Prescribe appropriate pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatments for sleep apnea and insomnia.
- Educate members about sleep health and ensure ongoing care.
- Communicate and collaborate with referring providers.
- Interpret sleep studies performed in Manistee and Cadillac locations.
This position is supported by three sleep specialized APPs (2 in Cadillac and 1 in Manistee). The ideal candidate is attracted to a busy practice and interested in becoming a vital part of Munson's sleep medicine team.
