We are seeking a skilled Manufacturing Mechanic/Electrical Technician to join our team at Openwork in Channelview, TX. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various dismantles, inspections, repairs, adjustments, and replacements of faulty parts or wiring as required.
- Reassemble, test, and adjust equipment for safe and proper operation.
- Design and create circuit diagrams and specifications for users.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, determining the best course of correction.
- Apply knowledge of hydraulic and fluid systems, advanced electrical circuitry, and PLC control systems.
- 5-7 years of related industrial experience.
- High school education or equivalent, with a 2-year associate degree program in a related field.
- Vocational school courses in mathematics, geometry, blueprint reading, mechanical drawing, metalworking, and drafting.
- Thorough knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, with a strong understanding of safety practices.
- Competitive hourly wage of $25.00 to $34.00 based on experience.
