MATERIAL HANDLER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organizing and stacking lumber efficiently
  • Preparing loads for shipment
  • Assisting with saw machine operations as needed (training provided for suitable candidates)
  • Maintaining cleanliness in the warehouse by removing wood debris and trash

Qualifications:

  • Effective communication skills; must be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs consistently
  • Willingness to stand for the duration of the shift without restrictions
  • Punctuality is essential; candidates must arrive on time
  • Provision of verifiable references is required
  • Commitment to working the entire shift
  • Flexibility to work overtime as necessary

Additional Information:

Shifts are typically Monday to Friday, with hours from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and may occasionally require weekend work.

Expect 3-5 days of guided training to ensure readiness for independent work.

Full-time positions offer 40 hours or more per week with weekly pay.

Educational Requirements:

High School: Completion of high school education is necessary.

Trade School/College: Relevant trade school or college education is advantageous.
