Job Summary:

This position ensures the safe and reliable mechanical operation of lifts, with emphasis on proficiency, instruction, safety, and leadership in all areas of Lift Maintenance. This department is responsible for the safe transport of guests and employees on the mountain.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform preventative maintenance and repair the assigned lifts
  • Utilize technical knowledge, skills, and abilities to optimize equipment downtime
  • Engage with colleagues to foster collaboration and results
  • Follow safety and risk management policies and procedures
  • Support the professional growth and development of employees across all levels of the organization, working closely with Lift Operations
  • Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
  • Prior mechanical or electrical experience
  • Valid US driver's license
  • Ability to work efficiently at heights
  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds
  • Able to work outdoors in adverse mountain winter weather conditions
  • Flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, evening shifts, overtime, etc.
  • Intermediate ski/snowboard ability preferred
