Job Description
As a Stationary Engineer - Operations Specialist at Aerotek, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining complex industrial equipment, including boilers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of these systems, which are critical to the production process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain boilers, compressors, chillers, and HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Assist in the installation and maintenance of packaging and production equipment, including vertical and horizontal packaging equipment.
- Utilize the CMMS system to order parts, track work orders, and complete orders in a timely manner.
- Make adjustments to equipment as needed to maintain required steam quality and maximize efficiency.
- Immediately report any accidents or hazardous incidents and ensure compliance with LOTO and SWP procedures.
Requirements:
- Chicago Engineer License
- Strong knowledge of compressors, HVAC systems, and utility operation
- Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:
This is a fully on-site position in a manufacturing facility. You will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with varying shifts, including 1st and 3rd shift. You will be expected to work a 4-week rotation, with 2 weeks on nights and 2 weeks on days, followed by 2 days off, 2 days on, 2 days off, and 7 straight days off once a month.
