- Develop system designs for flow sheet development, considering safety, maintenance, accessibility, constructability, and coordination concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of construction documents and design deliverables, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Engineering Expertise:
- Work on multiple project designs simultaneously, ensuring on-time delivery and quality results.
- Consider and apply safety, maintenance, accessibility, constructability, and coordination concerns, promoting a safe and efficient work environment.
- Size and specify mechanical equipment according to industry standards, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
- Manage drawing submittals, revisions, and Requests for Information, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
- Review mechanical calculations and construction documents for accuracy and compliance, ensuring high-quality deliverables.
- Proficient in Revit, AutoCAD, Excel, and other design software, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
- Evaluate contractor proposals for alignment and compliance, ensuring the best value for the company.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of engineering experience, preferably in construction or heavy industrial sectors, with a strong understanding of industry standards and guidelines.
- Licensed Professional Engineer preferred but not mandatory, with a strong commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Extensive experience in various industrial projects, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality results.
- Strong communication skills, detail-oriented, and positive mindset, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Occasional travel and physical tasks involved, with a valid driver's license and U.S. Citizenship required.
