Job Summary:

This position is eligible for a full-time sign-on bonus of $2,500. As an MRI/CT Technologist at Radiology Imaging Associates, you will be responsible for performing MRI and CT procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and timeliness. You will also escort patients to a treatment room and assist with dressings as necessary.

Responsibilities:

  • Performs MRI and CT procedures as ordered, achieving a high level of quality and timeliness.
  • Escorts patients to a treatment room and assists with dressings as necessary.
  • Completes all paperwork necessary to ensure timely delivery of CT services.
  • Explains MRI and CT procedures to address patient concerns and questions.
  • Practices radiation protection techniques to minimize radiation to patient and staff.
  • Completes related paperwork and obtains interpretation by the radiologist.
  • Conducts quality control measures to monitor machine performance and reports all malfunctions and/or need for adjustments to the site manager.
  • Focusing on customer service and user courtesy and poise when interacting with patients, staff, and visitors to maintain a professional atmosphere.
  • Required to respond to a medical emergency, including administering CPR.
  • Assists patients with positioning on the exam table and may be required to assist patients to prevent falls.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of magnetic resonance experience preferred.
  • Must be able to work independently.
  • Exceptional patient skills are a must.
  • ARRT (MR) and (CT) mandatory.
  • Must maintain and meet continuing education requirements as set forth by the ARRT.
  • CPR certified.

The pay range for this position is $37.00 to $52.00/hr. In accordance with Colorado law, the range provided is Radiology Imaging Associates' reasonable estimate of the base compensation for this role. The actual amount may be higher or lower, based on non-discriminatory factors such as experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities. Applications will be received on an ongoing basis, and this position will remain open until filled.

Full-time employees will become eligible for benefits on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
