Job SummaryThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing clinical services to children with speech, language, and communication disorders. This includes screening, testing, evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services to children with speech, language, and communication disorders.
- Screen, test, evaluate, diagnose, and treat disorders of speech, language, cognitive communication, voice, and swallowing.
- Consult, educate, and train patients and their caregivers.
- Supervise and educate colleagues, new employees, and students.
- Maintain effective communication and relationships with other professionals, patients, families, and caregivers.
- Master's degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state Speech Pathologist license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for healthcare providers.
- Basic computer skills.
- Current certificate of clinical competence.
- Speech Pathology experience.
- Hospital experience.
- Experience with the target population to be treated.
This position is located at Intermountain Health Orem Community Hospital in Orem, Utah.
