We are seeking a skilled and experienced CT Technologist to join our team at Foothill Regional Medical Center. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for performing a variety of diagnostic radiologic procedures, ensuring optimal imaging and patient safety.

• Perform CT/diagnostic radiologic procedures, ensuring optimal imaging and patient safety
• Ensure patient identity and correct procedure for diagnostic testing, as outlined in physician orders and regulatory requirements
• Assist with patient care, positioning patients for accurate testing, and coordinating patient requirements during procedures
• Maintain a sterile environment during invasive procedures and utilize effective PPE
• Apply radiation safety practices, ensuring minimal exposure and adequate shielding
• Ensure Infection Control procedures and HIPPA compliance
• Empathize with patients and families, expressing compassion and understanding for their situation
• Engage in caring behaviors, taking conscious ownership for work and interactions with patients, families, physicians, and co-workers
• Assume responsibility for ancillary tasks, such as documentation, ordering supplies, and maintaining department records
• Monitor patients, diagnostic procedures, and equipment, making adjustments to ensure optimal results

• Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of California
• One year recent experience in an acute care facility
• Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
• Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
• Fluoroscopy license/certification
• AHA Basic Life Support
• Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
• Hospital Fire and Life Safety Card (Los Angeles City Employees only)

• Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with patients and families
• ARRT advanced certification
• Venipuncture certification

Pay Rate: Min - $34.40 | Max - $47.27
