Qualifications:

To excel as a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant, you should meet the following criteria:
  • Possess a valid license, registration, or permit to practice in the state of service
  • Ability to implement care plans and communicate findings to the Physical Therapist and physician
  • Capable of educating patients and their families on home safety and medical equipment usage
Required Certifications and Licenses:
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapy program
  • Current CPR certification during employment in a clinical capacity
  • Valid driver's license with the ability to travel to various locations
