Probate Attorney

Sage Solutions Group is seeking a skilled Probate Attorney to join their team in Royal Oak, MI. As a Probate Attorney, you will be responsible for managing a caseload from start to finish, including client meetings, drafting, filing, and serving pleadings, and regular court appearances.

The ideal candidate will have:

• A Michigan bar license
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to follow through
• Exceptional communication skills
• Ability to adapt well to change and maintain a positive attitude under stress
• Multitasking abilities and focus on urgent issues
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel for court hearings as needed
• Experience in probate litigation (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Meeting with clients to determine their needs
• Drafting, filing, and serving pleadings
• Managing client expectations and responding to inquiries in a timely manner
• Regular court appearances in the Metro Detroit area and beyond as needed
• Managing a caseload from start to finish

Requirements

• Degree: Juris Doctor (JD)
• Field Experience: 3 years in Probate Law (Wills, trusts, and guardianships), 1 year in Litigation
• Software Experience: Legal case management software proficiency
