**Occupational Therapist Job Overview**

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist to join our team at Roscoe Regional Healthcare LLC. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients with physical impairments develop, regain, or maintain their ability to perform daily activities.

**About the Role**

  • You will conduct thorough assessments of clients to develop or follow treatment plans tailored to their unique needs.
  • Participate in family care plan meetings to educate caregivers and family members on patient care, ensuring seamless support.
  • Evaluate patient condition regarding physical and primary mental health, tracking progress and results of occupational therapy interventions.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
  • Demonstrate your ability to work effectively with senior residents, promoting a culture of empathy and understanding.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

**Requirements & Qualifications**

  • A bachelor's degree in occupational therapy from a university certified by the ACOTE (Accreditation Council for Occupational Therapy Education) or AOTA (American - Occupational Therapy Association).
  • Hold a current OT license in New York State – this is a requirement.
  • Have knowledge, skills, and techniques of age-specific developmental factors, enabling you to evaluate patients effectively.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest treatment practices and physical therapy programs.
  • Prior experience in long-term care is preferred but not essential.
  • Show flexibility, punctuality, professionalism, and reliability in your work.
  • Possess strong customer service skills and demonstrate compassion towards our patients.

**Compensation & Benefits**
