Job Title: Direct Support Professional 2

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Direct Support Professional 2 to join our team at Redwood Family Care Network in Monterey Park, CA.

About the Role:

The Direct Support Professional 2 will provide support and advocacy to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting their health, safety, and well-being. This role requires a strong commitment to person-centered care and a passion for making a positive impact in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support individuals with daily routines, including meal preparation and clean-up
  • Assist with bathroom needs and personal care
  • Pick-up and drop-off clients in company vans, if necessary
  • Prepare daily routines and activities based on individual program plans
Requirements:
  • Direct Support Professional Certificate (Year 1 & Year 2) or willingness to obtain within the first 6 months of hire
  • First Aid/CPR and CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
  • California Driver's License
  • Ability to lift 50lbs and work in various weather conditions
