Position Overview
RN Charge – Transitional Care
This role encompasses a supervisory capacity, overseeing the designated nursing unit. The RN Charge will manage Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants, stepping in as needed during their absence. Responsibilities may include direct patient care, such as administering medications, providing essential skin care, and assisting in the adjustment of treatment plans to cater to patients' physical and emotional requirements. The RN Charge will also reorganize and adjust staffing in response to the facility's needs.
Work Schedule: Full-Time, Evening Shift
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support Primary Care Nurses and Nursing Assistants.
- Engage in direct patient care activities as necessary.
- Adjust staff assignments based on patient care requirements.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and protocols.

Qualifications:
- Must possess a Registered Nurse license.
- Washington Registered Nurse License required upon hire.
- Current National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- A minimum of 3 years of RN experience, preferably in sub-acute care, or previous charge nurse experience, or 2 years of relevant leadership experience.
