Home Health Speech Language Pathologist

About the Role: Firelands Regional Medical Center is seeking a skilled Speech/Language Pathologist to join our Home Health team in Sandusky, Ohio. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will work closely with patients and their families to provide personalized speech and language therapy services.
Responsibilities:
- Treat individuals with communication disorders to assist them in reaching their maximum level of functioning.
- Provide direct service to home health patients, including speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing deficits.
- Instruct patients and/or family members in home treatment programs and assist them in adjusting to their communication disability.
- Maintain adequate patient records and participate in patient care conferences as required.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Certificate of Clinical Competence, licensed or eligible for licensure in the State of Ohio.
- One year experience in a medical setting preferred.
- Ability to understand and communicate effectively in both written and oral form.
Compensation and Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary of $85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits, including tuition reimbursement, loan forgiveness, and professional development opportunities.
