Occupational Therapist Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team at Southcoast Health System. As an Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping patients achieve their maximum physical, emotional, social, and mental performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide therapy services to prevent disability, relieve pain, and develop, improve, or restore motor function.
  • Work under the supervision of the Program Director, Rehab & Integrated Services and the Clinical Nurse Manager or designee.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • Current License in Occupational Therapy by the Board of Registration in Medicine of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and Rhode Island.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) & CPR certification.
  • Proficient computer skills, including experience with various software, database, and electronic records programs.
  • One (1) year of experience.
