About the Role

Corgan is seeking an experienced Project Architect to join our Multifamily Studio in Dallas. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of innovative and challenging projects throughout the U.S.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Generate creative design solutions within the functional parameters of a project, ensuring that they meet the needs of our clients and stakeholders.
  • Project Coordination: Prepare and coordinate all project deliverables, including drawings, specifications, and construction documents.
  • Contract Administration: Manage contract administration responsibilities, including negotiations, claims, and disputes.
  • Team Leadership: Provide leadership to staff, including project managers, designers, and technicians, to ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Client Relations: Manage client relations and ensure client satisfaction through effective communication and project management.
  • Technical Expertise: Demonstrate a thorough understanding of building codes, accessibility standards, and sustainable design principles.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with a variety of consultants, including engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders, to ensure that projects are delivered successfully.
Requirements
  • Education: Degree from a NAAB-accredited architecture program or equivalent.
  • Experience: 10+ years of experience in commercial design, with 5+ years of experience in multifamily design.
  • Skills: Proficiency in Revit, technical excellence, and a thorough understanding of how a drawing set goes together.
  • Registration: Professional registration as an architect.
  • Soft Skills: Effective organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and a flexible attitude.
