Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stylist to join our team at Ulta Beauty. As a Stylist, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional hair care services to our guests, including hair design, haircuts, color, texture, hair treatments, styling, updos, perms, blowouts, keratin treatments, extensions, makeup applications, and ear piercing (where applicable).

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform hair services with precision and attention to detail, ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and productivity targets by delivering exceptional guest service and contributing to meeting or exceeding store goals related to retail and service sales, guest loyalty, and retail shrink.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, providing personalized consultations and recommendations to drive sales and enhance the guest experience.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends, products, and services, and be knowledgeable about the ingredients and benefits of these trends, products, and services to better serve guests.
  • Work collaboratively with the Experience Manager and Assistant Services Manager to achieve performance, people, and process goals.
Requirements
  • Cosmetology license
  • Previous relevant salon experience is preferred
  • Proficiency with latest salon techniques for performing haircutting, haircolor, lightening, styling, texture, treatment, extensions, makeup, and ear piercing services (where applicable)
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships and build clientele
Working Conditions
  • Frequent mobility during shift
  • Continuous lifting and/or moving up to 10 lbs. during shift
  • Frequent stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching, twisting, and crouching during shift
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time during shift
  • Continuous and/or frequent coordination and manipulation of objects during shift
