About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Presbyterian Healthcare Services. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing repairs, lubrication, and adjustments on all hospital equipment to ensure a safe and comfortable environment for patients, guests, and personnel.

Responsibilities
  • Maintain all mechanical systems and equipment in the facility, responding to maintenance requests and performing logical troubleshooting.
  • Perform electrical maintenance and construction activities, including working on low-voltage equipment and distribution systems.
  • Maintain and repair refrigerators, freezers, drinking fountains, and ice makers.
  • Install and maintain building automation equipment, making wiring connections, calibrating sensors, and adjusting operating parameters.
  • Perform plumbing, maintenance, and construction activities, repairing and installing basic hospital fixtures and small domestic water and waste lines.
  • Maintain interior and exterior finishes, including paints, stains, sealers, vinyl wall coverings, and vinyl basecovers.
  • Operate and maintain all grounds equipment, ensuring the upkeep of all campuses.
  • Participate in educational programs and inservice meetings to stay up-to-date on industry best practices.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent, plus trade or vocational school in building/construction trades.
  • Prefer state journeyman license.
  • One to three years of experience in maintenance.
