About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic leader to join our team as Vice President of Environmental Health and Safety Leadership. As a key member of our executive team, you will be responsible for driving compliance, safety, and sustainability initiatives across our U.S. operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead a team of EHS professionals to deliver on EHS compliance and sustainability needs and objectives.
  • Identify, develop, and execute national EHS programs and training to provide employees with the necessary tools to implement safe and environmentally compliant practices.
  • Influence site leadership across multiple facilities and functions to drive effective EHS compliance and Sustainability.
  • Collaborate with leadership to identify and develop best practices for all aspects of EHS performance and compliance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key EHS stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, industry coalitions, environmental groups, and sustainability professionals.
  • Execute appropriate risk management processes, including insurance policy applications and approvals and negotiation and settlement of claims.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, EHS or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years EHS program development, employee development and leadership experience.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a member of executive leadership team, partnering with C-Suite executives.
  • Ability to travel by plane or car up to 75% of the time.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience, including successfully leading, developing and mentoring others.
  • Ability to align strategic business objectives with individual projects.
  • Proven track record of influencing across an organization to stand up new programs and initiatives.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to prioritize and balance multiple and competing objectives.
  • Results-oriented and driven work style.
  • Excellent task-oriented follow through to completion.
