About the Role

Southern Glazer's Wine & Spirits is a leading wine and spirits distributor seeking a skilled AI/ML Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a cutting-edge technology company, leveraging data to drive business decisions. You'll collaborate closely with data scientists to develop and deploy machine learning models, utilizing popular deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and deploy production-grade machine learning models.
  • Work in the full lifecycle of ML model development, from data preparation and feature engineering to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques, and frameworks.
  • Collaborate with data scientists to facilitate experimentation, model construction, and validation.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in software engineering and machine learning.
Requirements

Experience

  • 5+ years of experience with a BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent education and experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in framework-based model development, optimization, or efficient deep learning techniques.

Technical Skills

  • Strong expertise in programming languages - Python, R, or Scala, and technologies like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Kubernetes, Spark, Airflow, Kafka, and Open-source LLMs.
  • Experience working with petabyte-scale data sets and developing ML frameworks in Databricks, Snowflake, or similar large platforms.
  • Proficiency in machine learning and familiarity with open-source machine learning ecosystems.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD solutions in the context of MLOps and LLMOps, including automation with IaC (e.g., Terraform).
