Physical Therapist

Matrix Providers is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to provide high-quality health care services to our Military Service Members and their families at the Naval Hospital in Bremerton, WA.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver a full range of physical therapist services, adhering to the scope of clinical privileges granted by the MTF.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on thorough patient evaluations.
- Administer manual exercises to enhance and maintain patient function.
- Guide and motivate patients in performing various physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, daily-living activities, and assistive and supportive devices.
- Apply knowledge of mobilization techniques and body physiology to administer soft tissue mobilization.
- Administer traction to relieve pain using traction equipment.
- Record treatment, response, and progress in patient charts and automated systems.
- Collaborate with physicians and other staff members to integrate physical therapy treatment with other aspects of patient care.
- Perform prevention and wellness activities, education, screening, and promoting positive health behaviors.
- Master's degree in physical therapy or Baccalaureate degree in physical therapy for graduates before January 1, 2002.
- Graduation from a college or university approved by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).
- Experience meeting clinical competency requirements specified in the Service-specific credentialing instructions.
- Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a physical therapist.
- Basic Life Support Certification: Required (in person course with American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
