We are seeking a Behavioral Health Tech to join our team. The successful candidate will provide basic nursing and behavioral health care to patients, including technical monitoring, vital sign taking, and physical care. They will also orient patients to the treatment setting and assist with activities of daily living as needed.
Responsibilities- Provide basic nursing and behavioral health care to patients.
- Orient patients to the treatment setting and assist with activities of daily living.
- Review and participate in the implementation of patient treatment plans.
- Make rounds and monitor patient activities, physical, and mental status.
- Report to nursing staff and check patient belongings for contraband.
- Conduct patient safety monitoring activities, including observational checks.
- Facilitate daily therapeutic groups and activities for patients.
- Document observations, interventions, groups, and activities in the electronic medical record.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent preferred.
- Must obtain CPR and Handle with Care certifications within 90 days of hire.
- 1 to 2 years of experience preferred.
