Music Therapist

Sangre de Cristo Community Care is seeking a qualified Music Therapist to join our team in Pueblo, Colorado. As a Music Therapist, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to identify therapy needs of patients and caregivers.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 1:1 therapy and facilitate groups
- Assist the bereavement department with counseling needs
- Work independently while having the support of other therapists, leadership, and the healthcare team

- Must have an understanding of the Hospice philosophy
- Degree in Music Therapy from a college, university or equivalent; and holds credential of MT-BC (Music Therapist - Board Certified)
- At least two years of experience as a practicing Music Therapist, including experience with hospice care
- Expertise in counseling, crisis intervention, family systems, grief resolution
- Valid non-restricted drivers license
