The Senior Project Architect/Manager (PM/PA) plays a pivotal role in steering the project team, collaborating closely with the Partner and Chief Executive to ensure the successful and efficient execution of projects from initial programming to final closeout. This position demands exceptional client service, demonstrated through a thorough understanding and proven ability to manage multiple project budgets, scopes, schedules, and effectively staff project teams.

Your Contributions:

• Oversee and refine floor plan backgrounds to establish suitable structural gridlines and callouts in coordination with structural engineers.

• Supervise the development of reflected ceiling plans for production teams.

• Guide the production staff in finalizing floor plans and establishing building sections for detailed cuts.

• Ensure the accurate detailing of wall sections and floor plan specifics through effective redlining.

• Validate partition types and materials against district standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy.

• Direct the production staff in updating casework plans and elevations.

• Review and refine door and window specifications, ensuring clarity for production teams.

• Manage the review of schedules and ensure production staff adhere to updates.

• Evaluate exterior elevations produced by the team and provide design feedback.

• Assign and oversee shop drawing reviews, ensuring all drawings are meticulously checked and returned for distribution.

• Facilitate clash detection coordination and oversee roof plan reviews.

• Design special architectural features, such as main entries, ensuring they meet project standards.

• Ensure timely completion of redlines and facilitate reviews with production staff.

• Organize team meetings to discuss project sets and assign responsibilities.

• Coordinate and participate in weekly meetings with production teams and consultants, generating actionable task lists.

• Engage with MEP teams to ensure appropriate space allocations and oversee background redlining.

• Generate comprehensive code review documents and manage jurisdictional meetings and submissions.

• Attend owner coordination meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.

• Verify all "checked by" boxes on project sheets for accuracy.

• Collaborate with Senior Project Managers to align specifications.
Qualifications:

• Must possess a valid Architect license.

• A Bachelor's Degree in Architecture is mandatory.

• A minimum of 10 years of professional experience is preferred.

• Proficiency in Revit is essential.

• Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills are required.
