Job Overview:

This hybrid role encompasses both In-Room Dining delivery and bussing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and deliver all food and beverage orders in accordance with established guidelines and company standards.
  • Conduct floor sweeps and retrieve all food and beverage trays to maintain sanitation standards.
  • Prepare and deliver all VIP amenities.
  • Service hospitality suites following established policies and procedures.
  • Complete all shift sidework as outlined in the hotel's operating procedures.
  • Address customer needs, issues, and comments to ensure a quality experience and enhance future sales.
  • Report all communications to the immediate shift supervisor.
  • Handle cash transactions in accordance with company policies.
  • Buss tables in the restaurant as needed.
  • Assist with delivering amenities to guest rooms, such as towels and coffee.

Qualifications:

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Previous experience in a similar role for a minimum of three months.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Basic knowledge of customer service principles and restaurant operations.
  • Familiarity with standard cash-handling procedures.
  • Fluency in oral and written English.
  • Ability to see detailed guest checks and observe the restaurant environment.
  • Manual dexterity to handle trays and food items.

Physical Demands:

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Mobility to travel up to 300 feet regularly throughout the shift.
  • Continuous standing during preparation and service hours.

Work Environment:

Physically demanding role requiring prolonged standing, walking, and lifting in an indoor environment.
