Key Responsibilities- Prepare patients for diagnostic imaging exams, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the process.
- Operate X-ray equipment to produce high-quality images of the human body, using your expertise to optimize image quality and minimize radiation exposure.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely diagnosis, using your knowledge of radiology and medical imaging principles to inform treatment decisions.
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to federal, state, and local regulations and guidelines for medical imaging practices.
- Deliver exceptional patient care, prioritizing their needs and comfort throughout the imaging process.
- Completion of a two-year approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Valid state radiology registration as required by state law.
- Two years of X-Ray Tech experience preferred, ideally in a critical care setting.
- Registry by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology.
