Ryder is seeking a skilled Warehouse Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse automation systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on warehouse automation equipment, including conveyor systems, sorters, and palletizers.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automation systems, including electrical and mechanical components.
  • Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance measures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of automation systems with other warehouse operations.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
Requirements:
  • Vocational or technical certification in a related field or 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Knowledge of 480 volts and pneumatic equipment, intermediate level.
  • Working knowledge of computer-based equipment maintenance and parts inventory systems, intermediate level.
  • Ability to use PLC and HMI programming software, intermediate level.
  • Understanding of 24VDC control systems, photoelectric and proximity sensors, intermediate level.
