Standard Weekly Hours: 40

Summary: The Pediatric Physical Therapist will deliver competent and skilled care to patients and families according to their identified needs. The therapist will work with a team-orientation, emphasizing good customer relations, sound clinical judgment, and appropriate decision-making abilities that take into consideration evidence-based practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Assess and implement direct service for inpatients on the Transitional and Rehabilitation Care Unit for burns/wound management, musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, neurological, respiratory, developmental, and pain disorders.
  • Deliver care with a focus on pediatric rehabilitation and therapy.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in Physical Therapy
  • Pediatric experience preferred
  • CPR - BLS within 30 days required
  • State license for Physical Therapy or licensure eligible
