Position: MRI Imaging SpecialistThe MRI Imaging Specialist is integral to executing body imaging procedures for patients as directed by healthcare providers, ensuring the production of high-quality diagnostic images through proficient use of MRI technology while prioritizing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Review patient medical histories and conduct necessary screenings to guarantee safe imaging procedures
- Perform routine checks on MRI equipment to ensure optimal functionality
- Accurately position patients and execute MRI scans according to physician specifications
- Uphold cleanliness and safety standards within MRI examination rooms
- Document findings, report issues, and propose enhancements
- Implement quality assurance protocols
- Registered MRI Technologist credentialed by ARRT
- Preferred: Minimum of one year experience in diagnostic radiology
- Basic proficiency in computer operations
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal abilities
- Capability to work collaboratively with medical professionals
- Strong communication skills
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
This role requires standing, walking, sitting, manual dexterity, reaching, climbing, balancing, bending, stooping, kneeling, verbal communication, auditory skills, and the ability to lift up to 40 pounds. Specific visual capabilities are also necessary.
