Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Asphalt Paving Superintendent to join our team at GPAC. As a key member of our construction organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our asphalt paving projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the activities of our asphalt paving crews, ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Supervise and train crew members to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve project efficiency and reduce costs.
• Collaborate with our engineering team to ensure projects are designed and executed in accordance with industry standards.
• Communicate effectively with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams to ensure project goals are met.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management, or equivalent experience.
• At least 3 years of experience as a superintendent in the asphalt paving industry.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office and project management software.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
