As a Clinical Psychologist at Kaiser Permanente, you will play a vital role in providing mental health assessment, diagnosis, and treatment services to adult and child members. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans, ensuring the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, including psychological testing and evaluation
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, including psychotherapy and crisis intervention
- Collaborate with treating physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
- Provide education and support to patients and their families on mental health topics and treatment plans
- Participate in staff conferences to discuss patient care and treatment plans
- PhD/PsyD/EdD in Clinical Counseling, Health or School Psychology from an accredited college or university
- Psychologist License (California) within 6 months of hire
- Experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating a broad range of psychiatric conditions
- Knowledge of the bio-psycho-social functions that contribute to mental health
- Accuracy in diagnosing patients and developing effective treatment plans
- Competence in individual, family, and group psychotherapy
- Previous clinical responsibility to include crisis intervention, individual and group psychotherapy
- Demonstrated experience in psychological evaluations of adults, children, adolescents, and families
- Demonstrated professional maturity and ethical integrity necessary for assuming professional responsibilities
