Prisma Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Nurse-Resident. This role is designed for new graduates or RNs with less than one year of experience, providing a solid foundation to launch their nursing career.
Responsibilities- Attend quality and core curriculum classes, actively participate in professional development workshops, and successfully complete all clinical competencies and validation requirements of the Nurse Residency Program.
- Work under the direct and indirect supervision of the Clinical Education Team, refining nursing knowledge and skills.
- Actively participate in managing clinical situations, working under the direct supervision of a licensed Registered Nurse who oversees all clinical experiences, documentation, and procedures in the clinical environment.
- Adhere to policy and procedure requirements, including licensure renewal, assigned training, employee health screenings, time and attendance policy, dress code policy, patient confidentiality, infection control, and medication administration.
- Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of Nursing program approved by the South Carolina State Board of Nursing required.
- Licensed to practice as a RN in South Carolina; BLS required.
